The Carmelo K. Anthony Basketball Practice Facility is designed as a 54,000 square foot steel framed building with a masonry and aluminum/glass curtain wall exterior skin.
The building will be a state-of-the-art athletic practice facility for the Syracuse University men’s and women’s Basketball programs. It will be the first facility in the NCAA to include two (2) full court practice areas, along with cutting edge training rooms and meeting areas.
The vacated areas of the existing Manley Field House will be renovated into office space for all the athletic support staff and assistant coaches.
The design team is striving for a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified “Green” building.
