The Chris J. and Marshia K. Witting Surgical expansion is a four-story expansion to Crouse Hospital.  This project is made up of a series of renovations to existing space as well as the addition to a growing hospital community.   A cast-in-place shell will house the power plant and air handling systems in the sub-basement and basement. The nearly 20,000 square foot first floor will add 14 new, state-of-the-art operating rooms.  The second floor is reserved for future expansion.  All of this happens in an area surrounded by existing structures, making this a challenging project for Hayner Hoyt.   The expansion broke ground in February 2009.
